Safer Drivers Course

The Safer Drivers Course has been designed to help reduce crash risks in new drivers aged under 25 years.

Students need to have completed on-road driving of 50 hours (no three for one counted in the 50 hours) after completion of Module 1 and Module two you will receive 20 Log Book hours.

In Module 1, students learn information with their facilitator regarding low risk driving being prepared for driving solo. Module 1 three hours group discussion, videos and workbook.

In Module 2, students put into practice what they learn in Module 1 on the road, all round experience.

Module 2 is two hours practice session. Margaret holds a Specialised Driver Training certificate, which deals with anxiety and rehabilitation. Is a Safer Driver Facilitator and in car coach.

If you hold a current Health Care Card or Pensioner Concession Card issued by the Department of Human Services – Centrelink, you may be eligible for FREE course.

The Safer Drivers Course is designed by Transport for NSW. The Safer Drivers Course teaches learner drivers how to reduce road risks. Learners who complete the Safer Drivers Course receive 20 hours of log book credits.
